Heritage, innovation and development of the art of snow and ice culture
Ice and snow may evoke a sense of coldness, yet they also serve as a source of inspiration and a medium for artists. The melting of ice is often used to symbolize climate warming, and in its fragility, people see a reflection of their own vulnerability. It is for this reason that many artists turn to ice sculptures and other frost-themed artworks to articulate their thoughts.
